Re: Poor Replayabliaty??
Thats rediculous....considering all SH games give a nice incentive for replaying.

I ment survival horror but yes silent hill is a great example. For instance in sh3 you get the lazer sword the heather beam the sexy beam the smg and god knows what else.

Good because me jk. XD What I do remember the game having a little bit more fighting in it. You got new weapons in places you weren't supposed to get.
Re: Poor Replayabliaty??
Yes thats really how it is with all the silent hills exept for 2. idk about sh1 but i know in homecoming you get alot of wepons....but really im shocked that fatal frame dosent have extra incentive for beating the game like more infinant film.

Re: Poor Replayabliaty??
Well Fatal Frame 3 might but the fact is that most Survival Horrors have good repeatability because of how short they are. Fatal Frame is not that short and you can trust me on that one. One thing that might make the game hard to replay it is how slow your damn character walks its insanely annoying but I walk admit Fatal Frame is probably the 3rd best Survival Horror series in the Sub-Genre.
Re: Poor Replayabliaty??
Yes....the slow running is a major downfall in that game...plus the game itself is just slow paced. its honestly slightly annoying how slow it is at some points. Where you just need to run around randomly for 20 minutes before realizing "Oh wait! Theres a crack in the floor!" and you have your moment of genus.

Re: Poor Replayabliaty??
For me, the awesomeness of FF games comes from the intensity of the atmosphere combined with the story, but once you've played through it's like going through a haunted house a second time. Everything becomes 'oh I remember that' instead of 'oh shi..'.
But the first playthrough is always very tense and the stories behind the ghosts are all really interesting.
Maybe if they ramped the difficulty way up for hard it'd bring back some of the fear for a 2nd playthrough.

Yes I have tried replaying the first one which I think its better (IDK why I just like it a lot more then 2) I raised to difficulty to hard. I am going to be honest with you I have only beaten one Survival Horror game on hard before and that's Silent Hill 3. But it sure did make me scared.
